Homepage concepts for Makeup by Chaya. Both share the same structure, copy and palette — the only variable is the ground the hero sits on. Look at them on a phone as well as a laptop; most of this traffic will arrive from a WhatsApp link.

A Indigo ground

Route A — Indigo

Dark, editorial, and unlike anything else in the local market. Beauty work is shot against dark grounds, so it reads as native to the craft. The risk is that it may feel more fashion-editorial than this audience expects.

B Champagne ground

Route B — Champagne

Warmer and closer to expectation, but lifted well clear of the category default by the Didot and the indigo. Its single dark moment lands on Kallah Week, which puts the emphasis on the offer rather than the masthead.
